Type 300, made of solid carbide, ultra-fine carbide type K/P, TiAlN, DIN 6537, without flat.
Design
Point angle 140°, strong core, very good self-centring, short chips from concave cutting geometry
with special sharpening and pointing. The multilayer coating on a TiAlN-TiN bases combines the
advantages of the TiN-, TiAlN and TiCN layers and thus offers unusually universal use.
For drilling depths 3 x D.
Application
For machining long- and short-chipping materials such as structural and hardened steels, cast steel,
tempered steels and alloyed steels with strength up to about 1200 N/mm2, but also for carbon
steels, cast and high-alloyed AlSi alloys. Hard machining up to 55HRC.
