054558 Interface MITUTOYO USB Input Tool Direct
USB connection system for direct connection as a keyboard device without software driver
(HID) or as avirtual COM port (VCP) with fixed allocated COM port address in the Windows
operating system. Can be connected directly to a USB connection on a PC or for several channels,
via a USB hub.
Features:
USB signal lines as HID (Human Interface Device):
In principle, only one measuring instrument can be connected to a PC.
Although it is possible to connect several devices, the data cannot be simultaneously transferred.
USB signal lines as VCP (Virtual COM Port):
In principle, one or several measuring instruments can be connected to a PC. This requires the
use of MITUTOYO USB-ITPAK software. This software allows simultaneous data import from
several connected USB signal lines (measuring devices), as well as setting input conditions.
Note:
If several measuring instruments are connected via a USB hub or the data request is controlled
via a foot pedal, the MITUTOYO USB-ITPAK software (054558.1000) is required.
For a data request via foot pedal, the foot pedal 054070.0300 and the USB connecting cable
054558.0900 are required.
