For shrinking of HM shanks 3 - 20 mm and HSS shanks 6 - 20 mm.
Application:
On the fully automatic ISG 2400 WK, it is only necessary to select the tool diameter on the display
and insert the interchangeable disc that matches the tool diameter into the coil.
After the Start button is pressed, the induction coil lowers over the tool holder, heats it and retracts
upwards after the shrink-fit operation is complete. The shrink chuck simultaneously lowers into
the cooling tank and, after about 20 s, returns to the starting position cooled, dry and protected
against corrosion.

For shrinking of HM shanks 3 - 32 mm and HSS shanks 6 - 32 mm.
Application:
For manual shrinking, the tool diameter is selected on the display, the matching interchangeable
disc is placed in the coil and the tool is inserted into the tool holder. The coil is then placed on the
tool holder manually. After the Start button is pressed, the tool holder is heated by the induction
coil, the shrink-fit operation is indicated on the display as a bar and lasts < 5 sec. The next opera-
tion (cooling) is indicated on the display, the coil is raised manually and the cooling system with
the bellows is moved into the cooling position. After the Start button for the cooling operation is
pressed, the cooling time is indicated on the display as a bar. The cooling system is then moved to
the starting position.
