For non-destructive testing of surfaces (dye penetrant testing); for locating surface cracks. Thanks
to the very low surface tension of the penetrant RED, even the smallest micro-thin surface flaws will

cast iron, alloy and non-alloy steels, copper and other non-ferrous metals.
