Because of the low hardness of aluminium and other nonferrous metals and their alloys, the pore
spaces of the grinding discs become „smeared“ or clogged while grinding; the „smearing“ is
prevented by using aluminium grinding protection and the pores of the grinding tool remain
open; functions during grinding like a cooling lubricant and release agent, effective for all backed
abrasives such as serrated and mop discs, fibre discs, sheets, sanding belts, etc.
