Knipex 1240/50, glass fibre-reinforced plastic housing, low weight. For conductors with single,
multiple or fine cores with plastic or rubber insulation, automatically adapt to different conductor
cross-sections - therefore no damage to the conductors; cutting depth adjustable for different
insulation materials, with wire cutter for Cu and Al conductors, multi-wire up to 10 mm and single

Glass fibre-reinforced plastic housing, removable handle shell allows adaptation of the handle size
and width to smaller hands. For thin-wire and solid conductors with PVC insulation, doubly insula-
ted cable in two work steps without special adjustment. No damage to the conductors thanks to
special self-adjusting stripping blade; stripping length up to 25 mm; option for partial insulation
stripping; automatic ejection of removed insulation; integrated cable cutter; fold-out cutting guard;
easy blade replacement.
