Form KU Bond GR with pink aluminium oxide, grit G 120. The GR bond is ideal for use on flat
surfaces of non-hardened steel components, stainless steel (INOX) and non-ferrous metals and
provides a characteristically fine, shiny finish. The soft and elastic grit bond ensures a soft, fine
grinding action. Recommended cutting speed 10-12 m/s.

Form ZY Bond PUR Hardness W with green silicon carbide (SiC), grit 150. The PUR bond is ideal
for use on flat surfaces of steel components, stainless steel (INOX) and titanium, light and non-
ferrous metals and provides a characteristically fine, matt finish. The soft bond and special SiC grit
shape guarantee very soft grinding properties. Recommended cutting speed 10-15 m/s.

Form ZYA (cylindrical). For pre-polishing and high-gloss polishing of injection moulding tools for
plastic parts, high-gloss polishing of stainless steel components (INOX), pre-polishing of valves and
fittings, polishing of carbide cutting edges. Felt tools are for use together with diamond polishing
pastes and polishing paste bars. When the polishing paste is changed, the polishing tool must be
changed as well. The ZYA form is mainly used peripherally. The ST-BO type with centre hole is
suitable particularly for face-down polishing. Recommended cutting speed 5-10 m/s.

Bond TX with regular aluminium oxide, fibre-laminated. The TX bond is ideal for use on edges
of steel components, stainless steel (INOX), titanium, light and non-ferrous metals and provides a
characteristically fine, matt finish. The very stable integration of the grain means that very aggres-
sive grinding characteristics can be achieved together with a fine surface texture. Recommended
cutting speed 20-30 m/s.
