224600 Metal-cutting bandsaw blade WESA
High performance bi-metal bandsaw blade of HSS-M42, welded machine-ready.
Cutting edges made of HSS-cobalt-molybdenum with 67-69 HRc. High tooth hardness and good
tempering properties ensure longer useful life with higher cutting speeds and greater feed.
Application
A powerful, multi-purpose blade, especially suited for mass production and high cut rates. For
steels up to 1200 N/mm2.
Toothing
2 teeth per inch
For solid material of Ø 200-500 mm. The positive rake allows even work-hardening materials can
be cut well.
2 / 3 teeth per inch
For solid material of Ø 150-400 mm. Also for bundle and layer cuts with a cutting width of 150-
360 mm.
3 teeth per inch
For solid material of Ø 100-250 mm. Suited for various steel types and non-ferrous metals.
3 / 4 teeth per inch
For solid material and bundle cuts of Ø 80-200 mm. All-purpose bandsaw blade for production.
4 teeth per inch
For solid material of Ø 60-150 mm; cutting properties as for 3 teeth per inch.
4 / 6 teeth per inch
For solid material of Ø 50-100 mm, insensitive to tooth breakage. Different tooth pitches alterna-
ting at regular intervals allow larger cross-sectional areas to be sawed without changing the blade
5 / 8 teeth per inch
For solid material of Ø 30-80 mm, thick-walled pipes and profiles, wall thickness 8-12 mm.
6 / 10 teeth per inch
For solid material of Ø 20-50 mm, pipes and profiles, wall thickness 5-8 mm.
8 / 12 teeth per inch
For solid material of Ø 10-30 mm, thin-walled pipes and profiles, wall thickness 2-5 mm.
Other dimensions, welded machine-ready, can be supplied at short notice.
