easy to tear off by hand, cannot be removed without leaving a residue.
Use: Can be used anywhere, especially for rough and fibrous adhesion surfaces. Bonding of textile
floor mats.

tesafix® 4939 is a double-sided floor laying tape with a strong PET-cloth backing and a synthetic
rubber adhesive with a differential rubber adhesive system (strong on the carpet, weaker on the
substrate).
The special formulated adhesive on the open side combines a high initial bonding power with a
virtually residue-free removability up to 14 days from almost all substrates, exterior natural and
artificial stone (needs to be tested individually before usage!)
Main application: Temporary floor laying during fairs, exhibitions, conventions and renovations

457688 Double-sided non-woven tape tesa
tesafix 4959
tesafix® 4959 is a double-sided non-woven tape. It is coated with a light- and ageing-resistant
modified acrylate adhesive. The adhesive is virtually resistant to plasticizers and stands out thanks
to an extremely high initial bonding power and good shear strength.
Main application: mounting of signs, covers and nameplates, mounting of door linings in the
automotive industry, self-adhesive mounting of plastic bags, dispatch bags, continuous stationery,
posters, displays, etc., splicing of paper and film webs

457689 Double-sided carpet laying tape for professional users
tesafix 51960
Professional carpet laying tape consists of a PP film reinforced by fabric backing an acrylic
adhesive. The standard different adhesion value guarantees a strong tack and virtually residue-
free removal from the substrate. tesafix® 51960 is almost completely resistant to ageing and
plasticizers (no discolouration of PVC / CV floorings). The side with the stronger adhesion is covered
with a white liner.
Main application: Border and butt conglutination of floor coverings based on foam or textile woven
backings as well as PVC and CV floorings on nearly any substrate, like primed screeds, ceramic
flooring, natural and artificial stone, PVC floors, timber floor board and sensitive substrates (e.g.
parquet).
According to DIN 18365 the substrate has to be level, stationary, clean, permanently dry
and free of grease or wax films.
